Effect loop in the Road King!!!! CRAP

I use a road king series 1 with a 4x12 and a 2x12.



I run a delay and chorus through loop 2. When I turn on loop 2 the volume cuts in half. Any ideas? I want to have the same tone but with a little delay with no volume changes. I keep everything at 12 o'clock, the channel mix the foot switch Mix. What do I do....

I run a multi FX through Loop 2 of my RKI and don't have this problem. Are you using pedals or a rack unit?

If turning up the send doesnt help it might be caused by phase cancellation. Sometime the DRY signal coming back from the effect is out of phase with your amps dry signal. Make sure your effects are set for 100% "wet signal" If only Mesa had included a series/parallel switch on the RK.. you already have about 50 what's one more?
