effect advice

im playin thru a marshall mg100 hd4x and my current effect is boss gt8,however my previous effect is a rack mount digitech 2120,they both have effects and sounds the other doesnt,so im curious about using the two inline w/ each other.any advice on how to do that? should i run them using the 4 cable method and just run them in line like the normal stomp boxes?

Unless you want to use one of them as your preamp, I wouldn't do that. Sounds like a complex route to go.
