I really love the delay and chorus on the ME-50, and although the overdrives on the Boss can't compete, with the ED crunch, I would like to set up the ME-50's OD's as a slight boost to the amp overdrive to give it a tad more crunch.

Sounds good on paper, right?

Problem is, I'm having a spot of trouble dialing in a good setting. I want a good, fat classic rock enhancement/boost---and i know it's there somewhere,--but I'm having trouble just getting close to it.

Anyone else using this setup, or have any advice, opinions or ideas for the setttings?

Kinda fond of the onboard compression, too, BTW.

Thanx in advance.

I am not sure about the ME50, but if the OD/DIS has the model titled "Booster", set the drive to 45-55, tone at -30, level at 50, and direct level at 50...I use this sometimes with my GT8 via 4cm and it works excellent over the clean and blue channels. For Red channel, I use the "TS" model, gain at 6, +5 in the bass, level at 65, direct level at 20...
The secret to the boss units is to have the Direct Level dialed in.....I do not know if the ME has that option...

Good luck,
