Got a new DR. Had a Single rectifier. What setting should the output be? My SR output is set at 12:00 and I get it to 9:00 on the Master and it's loud as hell. Same settings on the DR and it's not even close. Not going through the FX loop in either case.

thanks

What model duel you working with? 2 or three channel? How old are the tubes? Are you the first owner of the amp?
Its really a subjective thing some dudes crank there master some dont. Its up to u what sounds best. What kinda music you playing?? I hate telling cats do this it sounds better all i can tell you is what i do. my channel vol is about 9-10 oklock and my master is about 10 or 11 the and im def lol. Its cranking loud, I have a old dr.

Brand new out of the box. 3 channel. Play metal to indie rock. My concern is it takes much higher settings to get the same volume/sound that my SR gets.

On bold and silicon diodes it should be slightly louder over all, but it may just be due to different tapers on the pots.
