My Dual rectifier is 5 years old recently it was on and plugged into the footswitch then the channel lights turned off. I can even change channels manually. The amp turns on but no sound and I am unable to switch any channels with footswitch or manually.

Is this tube failure?

do i need to replace the tubes?

or something else?

Please I will greatly appreciate answers so I can get this fixed soon!

If you run the loop bypass does it make any noise?

Are you saying that the recto was on and fine with an orange/red channel light on until you plugged in the footswitch, then the channel light turned off *right* at that moment?

the day the amp stopped working
i was plugged in with the footswitch when I noticed the lights on the footswitch were off. So then I unplugged the footswitch and tried to manually change the settings and nothing

no lights displayed even on the head

and no noise when loop bypass is on
