I need to replace one 5u4G and guitar center only has a 5u4GB...

As used in the circut, the 5U4G & 5U4GB are fine together.

Will it matter? Depends on your rig. Do you use them, or silicon diodes? Preamp distortion or power tube saturation? Band volume or bedroom volume? If you use silicon diode rectifiers and/or play at bedroom levels it won't make a difference. If you are using tube rectifiers IMO I doubt you could tell the difference in the band mix.

Why not just replace both with 5U4GB's? That remaining 5U4G has got to be old, right? Keep it as a spare.
