DR and TC G Major

Well after I give up! I usually can figure all this stuff out by myself but this is to much!

Right now, I want to keep it like a virgin and only use the preset but I cant get the same volume or tone from no G major to DR with G major

Can anyone share the settings the use to keep the tone and volume when I engage effect loop (G Major)...ALL THE SETTINGS! from the DR to the G Major

I'd like to help but you need to describe what is going on in better detail.
A couple of things I learned quickly with the gmajor is to first, make sure it is set to consumer and not pro. The pro setting will cut your signal by 10db. Second, it's hard to get the gmajor to sound right with a parallel effects loop. That's why I modded my DC5 to series.

To check if your in consumer or pro press the I/0 button and turn the parameter knob until you see Input Rng on the screen. Make sure it says consumer next to it.

Thank you it really helped but since I have a parallel effect loop, I need to run with the dry on but I cuts my volume down almost 80%...is this normal?

Yeah, I had the same problem. It didn't cut my volume that much but it was something I wasn't satisfied with so I modded my amp. There are a couple of threads here that can help you mod your effects loop. If you have any experience with a soldering gun you should be able to do it yourself. You would be shocked by the difference it makes!

1-If I mod the amp...can I put it back to parellel loop after when I sell the head?

2-Do I lose my solo fonction on my amp?

3-Will I lose the fx button (loop will always be on) and I wont be able to switch loop on/loop off

You should easily be able to put the amp back to parallel.
Your Solo and Output will work just fine.

The Mix knob only controls the amound of signal that goes through the Send jack.

But.....Occasionally, the Send jack messes up and you get a stuttered type of sound because it is cutting in and out.
A simple fix or preventative measure is to run the shortest patch cord you can between the Send and Receive jacks when you do not have anything plugged into the loop.

I think if you were to sell the amp it would be a good selling point to have a series loop.

I don't ever shut my effects loop off, I just have a dirty patch with no effects and a clean patch with no effects on the gmajor.
