Don't need no Mk V

I'm definitely going to try one.
I had the chance to A/B my Mark III against a mark IV recently and I really did not hear too much of a difference (the IV was an A).
I would like a better clean while I have my lead channel dialed up to scream , but besides that
I will need to see what the V has to offer me.

Personally, I think that the most attractive part of the Mark V is its live versatility. There are a couple of new features that have been added that makes life a little easier (separate reverb sends per channel comes to mind). Combine that with the Solo and Mute switches and you've got a great live amp for someone who is a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy. Plus, it still sounds like a Mark series amp, at least I thought so when I played one. Anyways, that's my take on things.
