I tend to run the Vol 1 at 8 and the Master 1 at 7 so I can get some more power tube saturation, while I tame the Lead Master to appropriate levels. Of course, when I want to play on my rhythm channel, I have to reset the volume controls.

Just wondering if I can stick another knob on that would allow me to control the overall volume of the rhythm channel, so I don't have to rely on preamp fizz for my lead channel when it comes to balancing out the two channel volumes.

Thanks. I'm sure this is no old topic...

I feel your pain, bur I dont think they offer this. Having the Master at 7 is really having power tube involvement. Without having an LDR or relay switch out Masters you will have to bear it. I run my Master at 5 and there is no switching to the clean channel. It breaks windows.

Maybe Mike B. would try the mod, but this is the reason for the MK IV.

Rereading my first thread, I was meaning to say "new thread", when I stated that this is "no old thread..."

;)
