I'm getting my T-verb combo this week and I'm really thinking of running it at 50 watts, I know you pull a set of tubes out plus one rectifier tube and then run the speakers in the next lower ohm-age. But does it matter if you pull the outter 2 power tubes or the inner 2 tubes, will it sound different either way? Also, does it matter which rectifier tube you pull?

My new ('94) T-verb is also coming with something called "Yellow Jacket Class A converter", not installed but included with the amp....... Has anyone had any expierence with these? What exactly do they do? I mean I know they are supposed to convert a class AB amp to a class A amp, but how would this affect the tone of a T-verb?

Lots of question marks, huh?

to answer the first part of your question, no it doesent matter.
Just dont forget to change the impedence youre using. (EG if you have an 8ohm cab, connect it as 4ohm)
