I have not modded my Lonestar
I run Ch. 1 with reverb around 12:00 and Ch. 2 at 08:00
I run it in True Bypass (no "Solo")
I really like sound of Ch. 2 set with the Drive off (but usually have it on)

So I'm thinking for a more distorted sound I could add overdrive to Ch. 2 (which would require 2 steps to achieve full distortion sound) or add distortion to Ch. 1 and use Ch. 2 only as a slightly dirty sound.

In the end I have 3 sounds. Clean, Dirty, Distorted. (The tonal change using the Loop and the Solo is too great for me to use)

In terms of the actual pedal, I'm working that out now I'm wondering what TBB folks think about adding OD to Ch. 2 vs Ch. 1 with distortion.

Do you have an actual question? The more specific you can make your question, the more helpful we can be. :)

So basically would you add Overdrive to Ch. 2, or Distortion to Ch. 1?

I would use an OD as a boost. Keep the gain low and turn the level all the way up
