Has anyone on here got the newer triaxis (serial #T8279 onwards) that they can compare to an older triaxis without phat mod (serial #T1631-T5200)
The new triaxis does not have the recto board at all and now lead1 red is a british lead sound. I am really dissapointed in this and to me it seems like mesa is just cost cutting.

-The new Triaxis does not have a Recto mode, because of this there is no option for the Phat mod.
-You will not be able to get the same tone from your new Tri as you did from your serial # T2803 in Ld 1 Red.
-Any Triaxis from serial # T1631-T5200 will sound like the old Tri you had, unfortunately we do not have anything like this to sell, you'd have to search the used market.
-The Recto board was removed because it contained an LDR that is no longer available to us, therefore we either had to stop making the Triaxis all together or revert it to it's original spec without the Recto mode. So we decided to still continue to make it.
-The Phat mod only applies to the Recto mode.
-Without the Recto Mode the Phat mod doesn't exist.
