differences between TR's

how many models of the TR was there? is this one a 2 channel? Were there ever any 3 channels that had this same design?

There were 3, the 2 channel which you pictured above, the old 3 channel that replaced the 2 channel, and now the reborn 3 channel.

As for tone differences the 2 channels would be the best by a longshot IMO, followed by the multiwatt, but both are better than the regular 3 channel head.
