The other day the Western World came on the radio and right away I loved their tone. I'm not normally a big Pennywise fan, but It sounded great for a punk band. Actually, I would take that tone over most modern metal bands. It was tight and smooth and right away I guessed Boogie. It sounded too smooth to be a MK III. My guesses are; Studio pre, Quad pre, or Mark C of some kind. If anyone knows what amp(s) they used I would love to know.

I saw them years ago and they were using JCM-800's but it was a show in Hawaii and the entire setlist used the same backline.

Did you try Youtube?

In the 90's Fletcher used Mark IV's and has now moved on to a Recto. Maybe he should go back...
