I haven't played a Stiletto, but if anything the LSC gain structure is thick and dark rather than thin and bright. Most people complain that the LSC is too dark rather than too bright. I think it sounds pretty good at low volumes but the LSC does like to be opened up a bit.

Single Coils and an LSC are a match made in Heaven

Really nice warm thick gain on 10 watt mode at low volume
Quite fond of the 2x12 version of this amp myself

cheers

I've never seen the Stiletto and single coils as a good match...too much bright going on IMO.

Then again, if you like a bright tone, it might be right up your alley.

Single coils and the Lone Stars are fantastic. I love the sound of my tapped humbuckers on the clean channel of my stiletto but that is a secondary sound option for me on this amp. If I only had single coils I'd be playing though a lone star classic.

At our practice I had my LSC volume on one with a condenser mic run through our in ear monitors, and I do think that I have never heard an amp sound so good. Just don't look for massive Dual Rec gain, but it can get the job done in about every type of music.
