DC3 Finally gets out to play

I have finally gotten my DC3 to band practice a few times.Everyone agrees that I have a sound that cuts through and is sweet not harsh.My setup is-53 Tele clone(Built by me),Ibanez Vol.pedal,Rt66 OD,Xotic AC+,TC Electronics Nova Delay(Just replaced a Marshall Echohead,still learning).I get great cleans and the OD's sound awesome throught the rythym channel.I rarely use the Lead channel it just sounds to boxy.Tonite we were recording an original tune that I was sure was outside my abilities but was noodling quietly while the bass player learned the changes when Bob(singer and writer) said lets do it- BAM!! The sound floored us all.I love this amp,I don't struggle to find a sound to fit the songs and it really allows me to focus on feeling and expression.The only issue other than needing to tweak tubes for the lead channel is noise while recording.We used the recording,out would a noise gate between the amp and the recording interface work?I am going to open her up to do some testing of components this is not a new amp and may need some more TLC but she rocks better than any other amp I have owned. 8) Kevin
