DC-5 silent recording, no speaker load question

i see in the manual that running the DC-5 with no speaker load is OK using the silent recording rocker switch. my question is, can i do this indefintely? i'm running the preamp, and powering the speaker with a tube power amp. i'm running the DC-5 speaker and another cab in stereo using the power amp, hence the silent recording usage. anyone see any problems with this setup? thanks...
