DC-5 Questions

Is it really supposed to be the clean and lead channel of the Mark IV? It also looks like a mark IV too. I have a DC-5, but I've never played a Mark IV. Thanks

From what I recall a Mesa factory guy telling me on the phone, the DC5's clean channel was modeled after the MKIV, but the Lead channel's OD voice is more Recto than Mark. I have never owned a IV nor a recto, so can't comment ...except that mine sounds awesome.

Yeah , the information I got is as edward's description.
But after I play the recto , I find the lead sound of DC-5 is smoother than recto.
Also DC-5 has more mid range for tone.
They are totally different amps IMO.
