DC-5 Circuit Porn!

Well i did the volume mod on my DC-5 yesterday and it now officially KILLS at bedroom volume too so i'm very happy!

Above is the resistor you need to clip for the mod, just behind the volume pot

Hey, any idea where a DC-5's serial number is located? Is it inside on the circuit board or outside on the chassis? Thanks!

Hey man it's on the bottom of the chassis. If you look at the back of the amp to where the fuse is, it's just below that, printed on the bottom of the chassis. If you run your hand along it you should be able to feel a sticker. Just put it on a table and turn it upside down for a better view

Gotcha, found it. Mine's 031398. Any idea what that dates it to? It's one of the later models I think, since it doesn't have channel LEDs and the EQ switch on the back is a toggle instead of rotary.
