Dude, the hum on the lead channel has gotten more pronounced along with the fluctuating volume of both channels. I have new tubes in it and have swapped them for the older ones and no difference in condition was observed.

I'm really depressed about this as i wanted to take the Boogie to Europe with me for my first overseas tour.

Remember it'll be 220/240VAC in Europe with different connector types too. I would request the tour organizer to arrange the amp(s) for you locally.
We'll have an European (more accurately Scandinavian) tour coming up sooner or later too, I'll bring my two guitars, two cables and a tuner with me only, no amps or effect pedals (who needs them anyway with M/Bs?).

At least yours is a head, so your back won't go out quite so soon like mine would with the combo!

By the way, do you need the schems? I have the whole set for the DC-10.

That head was probably made around 1994 possibly newer. I have a real hard time beliving that your problem is the caps. I've had 20 year old MKIII's with original caps that were absolutely fine, same goes with 20 year old JMP Marshalls. It's around the 15 to 20 year mark when they start going bad. What band are you in by the way? Got a Myspace site?

Thanks guys, yeah, I think the caps are fine, too:

nosajwp: Yes, I could use a schem!

scottcrud: I'm in a band called Adam's Attic.

Gotcha, man. If you ever get a chance to go see Silverleaf, check em out. They play all over TX and are really tight. We've played with them a few times and the guys are a ton of fun to hang with, as well.

Haha, you TX bands have your crap straight. TX produces alot of fine musicians.
