Hi! I recently sold (Don't bludgeon me!) my Mark II Rectoverb Combo. It was in perfect working order when I sent it, and the package was really well packed, and I mean really. Unfortunately upon arrival the amplifier, apparently, didn't work. He said when he plugged in there was just a horrendous gated fuzz sound. At first I thought one or more of the tubes had gone microphonic, but when I asked him to perform the old tap-tubes-with-non-metallic-item test he said it just constantly wailed with an odd high pitched noise. I'm baffled, but really need to get this sorted. If I had paid £800 for an amp I'd expect it to be perfect, he's being very patient though. The courier company aren't liking the fact I'm trying to get a measly £100 out of them for a service when I insured it for £750!
