Not my style, that's for sure. Might even be fugly. Unacceptable even for a museum piece. Heaven forbid on stage! What are they thinking?

Mesa has a link to new custom options on their website.

Reminds me of an ugly dresser from the '70s.

The custom inlays are a cool addition to Mesa's custom shop, but..... yeah.....

i actually thought they looked pretty cool  ...kind of elegant in a way.
if i was shelling out cash for a new amp id probably get something more manly looking tho

eh idk i didnt really like the look of the amp with the mother of pearl inlay i also didnt like the alligator skin on the mark V which was to the left of that? Also props to haggertys music works for recieving that award which you can kinda see in one of the pictures ( im talking about the crystal loking spire next to the mark v head).

I don't know--my brain is telling me that the custom Mark V looks real nice.

Hi

Pls think about elder boys(me almost) which dont gig and it is then an furniture object in the living room-like a Stereo rig was in the past-easier to swallow for Mum then an ordinary Tripple Rectifier

Roland

(Mine is black but I loved( No cash) the custom option wine taurus/tan grill)

Exactly. When you got a wife, what is acceptable as living room furniture becomes a very, very relevant point. Speaking from experience here.

Chances are your missus won't mind a Triple Rectifier Stack in your living room as long as it looks like furniture and is in line with the interior design. If it isn't, you'd better hide it in the basement or the garage, or you're in for a world of trouble...

I like em!!! BUt what I DONT like is the price!!! Maybe if I had more money this wouldnt bother me soo much!!!

All of those pics make me think of Texas. My best friend lives in Texas, but there's a reason why I live in California. :)

Part of the reason for the over-the-top cabinet work for the NAMM show is to showcase what they are capable of doing. I saw a Custom Shop Strat at a NAMM show years ago that was covered with tooled leather. Some people walked away shaking their heads, while others stood there saying "wow, those guys can do anything!"

For those who thought that Mesa's custom cabinetry was limited to exotic hardwoods and wicker grills, now they know differently.
