Hello guys! Im up here again to keep you up with my latest studio experimentations :D I did this last one to see what kind of glassy guitar tone I could come up with, using my 57 in various configurations. here it is:

Shuffle rock

Feel free to give me advice!

Cheers!

very nice tone! one of the best clip ever heard here in terms of sound! what guitar/amp were you using?any fx?Are drums real?very nice mix

Well thanx! The signal chain is as follows:

Ibanez RG1527CB (I has a AirNorton7 in the neck and I used it in coil split with volume backed off a bit) to MIJ Boss Super Overdrive pedal to Triaxis LD1 Grn mode (lo gain setting) to 2:90 to recto 412 standard slant cab. I mic'ed it with a 57slightly off axis and sent it straigh thru my Tascam DP-01 Digital recorder. Drums and bass are from the DR880 Drum machine. I thinking about getting a decent mic pre tho.

Cheers.
