I was picking up my 295 & Studio Pre in Austin today. Had some time to kill, so I visited a few music stores and saw a lonely 2X12 Roadster combo for $1499. Guy who bought it didn't like it and returned it within a week. It's got over 4 1/2 years left on the warranty! Needless to say, I put some money down and will be paying the rest off as soon as possible.

Good deal !!!! They are great sounding amps... really liked The one I demo'ed , until I tried to pick it up....108 lbs....Thats when I tried the V...bought that instead...but the roadster is a great amp...Have fun...

I hear ya on the weight, Boogieman. This amp will be my practice amp and home studio amp, and luckily there are no stairs in either place. Not currently in a band, so I don't have to worry about a gigging amp. I can tell you that I will not be lugging a 108-pound combo to gigs though. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Anyway, I just got a call and the 295 has sold. The Studio Pre was sold last week. The proceeds from both items are going to the Roadster. I'm getting closer to paying off the Roadster. My tax return ought to seal the deal. 8)

I have the combo. It sounds amazing but is definitely HEAVY!!!! On the bright side it fits in my Jetta. I went from a half stack to the combo for that reason alone.

Looks like I'll be picking this thing up on Saturday. Gonna be a long week of anticipation. I've got all these different output tubes to try out and stuff. Gonna be a fun Saturday!
