Converting a Mark Series Combo to a Head?

I appologize in advance if this is a dumb question...I tried to search for past threads but had no luck. My question is, what would be involved in converting a Mark series combo in to a head? For example, If I wanted to convert a mark2 1x12 combo, into an amp head, would it be as simple as buying a Mark Short head and mounting the amp inside? Would I need extra equipment? Is it so easy a caveman can do it?

Unless the combo is a SUS-mount. Then you will need the proper screws and washers for the head shell.

Another stupid question. Can I fit a mark2 amp in a mark 1,3,or 4 short head? Or can a mark2 combo only match up with a mark 2 head?

It should fit but member said that the bolt pattern slightly differ in newer models MarkIV[?].
