Combo Speaker Breaking In

Since I play almost nightly as a fulltime musician,
I've noticed the combo's speaker breaking in, thus the feel & the sound improving with every gig.

It was the same with the Lonestar Classic combo, but for some reason it seems to be happening much quicker with the Mark V.

Is this my imagination working overtime, or has anyone else exprienced the same?
