Coliseum 300 power amp v.s. strategy 500 v.s. Altec 9440A

I'm going for a power amp and would like to know the difference between the three listed. Anybody play all three or any of the above give me any feedback on differences in tonality, history, character etc.

The 300 is great. Do a search, I wrote about some of the features in another post. Use it with a triaxis or bogner fish and it will sound awewome. Good luck.

I have a 500. vht 2150 and classic....as far as the 500 goes, since its the boogie,it is waaaay tighter than the 20/20, 50/50,simul 2 90, and 295....dont let high wattage, power scare you...even at low volumes, these things deliver like no other...

never played the altec, but my moneys on the 300 or 500...2 poweramps that are just too hard to beat...
