Ok, yes or no... should Mesa change those hard to see chrome knobs on their amps? They look cool but I hate them.

I dont have them on the Express but i still think they look cool. When i used the recto though, at gigs, i never had an issue with them

I had a rectoverb for a brief period and the chrome knobs that made it imposible to read and adjust on stage ran a close second behind the horrid fizzy distortion in reasons why I gonged it from my gear collection.

These are very easy to see on a dark stage but I'm still not sure I'll stick with these or go back to the chrome.

love the chrome look but can't tell where I'm at at the club. i had a roadster for a short while and was thinking of putting a dab of glow in the dark nail polish on the knobs. I think there was a little dimple on the knobs and a dab of nail polish on there, might work . I brought back the amp (couldn't afford it) so i never tried it out.

Some people have put different color nail polish/paint in the dots on the amp, seems to help them see where they are. I use the black knobs and they have a gold dot in them that is pretty easily visible. Here's a pic with a camera flash that would be similar to stage lights during a sound check in most venues.
