Check out this used Thiele... Opinons?

I found this listing for a used Thiele cab:

I've been considering getting a thiele, and this is local. I don't know what type of speaker that is... can anyone provide some info? Also, does the $300 price seem reasonable? Thanks!

That is speaker is the MS-12. It is a great speaker! My C+ came with one, straight from the factory. It is generally used in the older Mark series combos, and open back cabinets. It is darker tone than an EV-12L. If the cabinet is in good shape, it is a fair price to pay. If it is local, I would offer the seller like $275.00.

That's NOT an MS12. It's an incorrectly labelled EVM12L. Don't know how that would've happened. But you should grab it. That speaker and cab were literally made for each other, and for any Mark series amp!

Well, I went over to the seller's house and after playing thru the cab for a few minutes, I was sufficiently impressed so I pulled the trigger... it's in my possession now 8) . I'll need some time with it and my amp for a final verdict, but based on the trial looks like it'll fit the bill. If I get a chance I'll remove the rear panel and post a better pic so the EVM12L vs. MS-12 mystery can be solved.
