I realized the other day that I have never taken the chassis out of my 2ch DR...

That was followed by the realization that I have no idea how to do that.

Does it have something to do with those white plastic tabs or the little tiny bolt by the power inlet?

Neither. You don't want to touch those tabs. They hold the circuit board inside the chassis. The screws on the bottom of the headshell are what you want to loosen. Also, stay away from the blue filter caps. They have stored voltages that can easily kill you. It's best to not poke around in there unless you know what you're doing.

I am well aware of shock value of the inside of the head. Ha. I am just trying to make it easier to experiment with different preamp tubes... and possibly find out what year mine was built.
