Fellas I`m in need of help here. Just started tour. I fire up the amp today and channel 1 is gone. I cant get to it by footswitch or manually. Even when you turn on the amp, its usually on ch 1. Its not, ch 2 is lit when fired up. Any ideas??? Amp has performed flawless thus far. Thanks

Oh man, I feel for ya!

Could be something similar to this:

Listen closely fellas. When you are out rocking, make sure you get some darn sleep. This was all my bad. Setting up in a hurry, instead of effects loop, yup, I plugged in to ch2 and ch3 on back. I even looked right at it when trouble shooting and moved on. Sleep!!!

Hehe...

Any ports I need to plug into in the back, I mark with silver Sharpie.
I can't tell ya how many times I've plugged the wrong cable in the wrong
port prior to doing so. Helps on dim stages too and when my vision
is a bit blurry and mind a little hazy ;)

I put big pieces of coloured tape on the send, return, tuner and 8ohm speaker output, with matching coloured tape wrapped around the corresponding cables.

Can you guys elaborate just a little about your taping method. Pictures would honestly be the best for someone like me. I am curious because I was on-stage the other day for the first time with my new band and I was panicking for a second right before we started. I could not for the life of me figure out what was going on and I had just enough time run behind my amp and realize I was using the wrong jack on my cab, it was so dark and cramped I didn't notice when we were setting up. But it was making me think I need either a checklist or some kind of system to make sure I am good to go when we start playing and it sounds like you guys might have one :) .

Here is the back of my rack, it has my wireless with front end effects, FX Loop effects, MIDI control, & switching. Everything is color-coded so it's red to red, yellow to yellow etc (that red cable with yellow tape on the connectors has since been changed to a yellow cable, 2 Reds in the audio bay was confusing).

This is the back of the amp. It's a little harder to see, but it is coded with colored tape as well.

I keep a nice bright LED flashlight in the rack drawer with my cables.

The color coding really helps when you're rushing a setup.

I just found a better pic of the back of the head. This is what I see when I start plugging stuff in (the top left tape is actually green, the flash washed it out).

In case your curious, here is the front of the rack:
