Changing Valves in LSS

Hi guys, being a brand new LSS owner, I have lots of dumb questions. Here's one: when changing tubes do you pull that steel grille off the back to make it easier to access the tubes, or is that not necessary?

Yes you do, and I think it's easier to turn the amp upside down.
