Change tubes to Triple Rectifier

hello ,

i'm new guy in this forums and i have a question about change the tubes for my Triple rectifier. This amp have 6 tubes 6L6 and i never changed it.

Now i think to change this 6L6 for EL34 because i want to change the sound of my recto, i want to get more brilliant sound and not than "darken" . i´m searching the british sound with my recto.

my question is:
this is tubes are correct for my triple rectifier???

what is the diference between str447 GRAU and GELB??? are valid for my triple recto???

Como estas? The difference is the series run, a little difference but not that much.

The MESA tubes are great but I've used Ruby Tubes EL34bstr in my 2 channel DR and they sound incredible !

To get the BEST, premium sounding Ruby's, check these guys out. Talk to Trace Davis (owner) and tell him Carlos (used to be in 137 from Rochester, New York referred you) You WILL be happy you did. These tubes are great as they get the cream of the crop, a little more money but well worth it !!! :wink:
