Can I get rid of the DR footswitch?

The standard Dual Rec footswitch is quite big and takes up a lot of space on my pedalboard. I never use the "solo" or "FX" options....Is there a footswitch out there that I can substitute so that I can just switch between Channels 1, 2, and 3? I saw a BOSS FS-5U....but, I'm not sure if that's what I'd be looking for........

Supposedly you can call Mesa and have them eliminate the Solo and Loop function to make it a 3 button footswitch.
