HI, Just picked up a Quad after selling my original in 95 and regretting it ever since!! Put it straight in for a service etc. A chip needed replacing in the FU-2 Footswitch and now to switch on the EQ (either channel with the toggle in the middle position), you need to hit the eq button, then hit the channel button again to get it to engage. Also, the pedal doesn't always reflect what is on the main panel. My tech seems to think this is right but I'm sure I'm right, In fact I KNOW I am. I guess I'm after as many confirmations as possible so I can guide him. Don't get me wrong, the guy is brilliant and has enough recommendations to qualify but any comments would be appreciated. To summarise, EQ switching is a one stomp 'affair' and the FU-2 should always mirror the front panel.

Cheers guys.

P.S. I'll be running another thread soon on a custom switching system that allows the Quad to be put through the power amp of my Lonestar Special and switch (one button press) across to use the Lonestar in standard combo fashion. It sounds AMAZING :)

Each EQ is engaged/disengaged with a "one stomp action" on the FW when the little switch on the Quad is in the middle position. No need to hit any channel switch on the FW.
