+1 to what siggy said. I also agree with the settings for the most part, only I tend to run my mids a little higher at 12 Noon instead of 11 o'clock, and I run my gain a couple notches lower at 12 Noon at 2 o'clock. But, I use active EMG's where as it sounds like he doesn't, so our sound probably washes out similar in the end.
I also agree that the amp sounds better with the loop bypassed. That's how I run the amp most of the time. Not that it sounds bad with it in, but there's just something special with the loop out of the signal.
