Caliber 50 + setting question help please

Hi guys I'm new here.

Just bought a 50 cal + with eq and wanted to know if anyone has any good settings I can try out. I like hard rock sounds VH, Randy Rhoads. Any help would be great. I also wanted to know if I would still need to use pedals, or will the amp do to capture the sound.

Give us just a little more info, before we try to help.....

Head, or combo? If head, what cabinet?

Bedroom or stage volume? Makes a HUGE difference....


What guitars will you be using?

Well, put the graphic EQ in the classic V setting.
Gain-9
Master-2-4
L.Master-9
Treble-7
Bass-3-4
Mid-3-5
Rev.-0
Pres-4
That should get you started with a good chunky metal rhythm tone as well as a good lead tone.
