Can I run two 1x12 8ohm cab into the 4ohm sockets of my Amp ?

Or if I run a mesa 1x12 8ohm cab into my combo which socket is best if I want to use both combo and cab?

Yes, the 4 ohm jacks are the desired ones when running a pair of 8 ohm speakers in separate cabs.
