cable for mesa footswitch

just got a mesa footswitch for my dual rec and was wondering if it needs a regular guitar cable or not? the switching functions works ok with the cable i have but the LED doesn't work, I just wondered if it needs a different kind of cable for it to work?!

Guessing your led doesn't work. As I use my old guitar cables that start making noise.

Any 1/4-1/4 (quality) guitar cable will work fine as the voltage that supplies power for the LED is very low, no special cable needed for this to work.

Check with Radio Shack (or any electronics supply store) for an LED, they're easy to replace with a decent sautering iron.
