Boogie newbie pain

I was told a thousand times by everyone here, to use the MKIV EQ with the famous V cure. I tried to resist, figuring it was just for you heavy metal guys, but i have succumbed to it's powers. it only took me about three months to figure this one out.

eh eh ideas change and it is all right, man. Mesa marks could have too many mids if not dialed in properly. MarkIV is supposed to have a scoopier tone but, although not necessary, the classic "V" often helps!

i hooked up an AB switch to the MKIV and some of my Marshalls and that's when i noticed the mids. I thought my Marshalls had more mids then the MKIV, I was wrong. The V does the trick.
