Also, my BA has a Vintage 30. I read somewhere that the earlier ones came with them - is that correct? I see no signs of anyone having changed anything out.

Looking at the photo, in the row of tubes closest to the observer, V2 is the third tube from the left, or the second tube from the right.
As a rule of thumb, V1 is the pre-amp tube closest to the input jack, and next is V2, then V3, etc.
On your amp, V11 is the rectifier tube, the big one next to the fan.

Thanks - very helpful. I am confused by V11 though - should the rectifier not be V12 (counting right to left and front row to back)? Pardon my ignorance.

Can anyone confirm that the Vintage 30 would be correct for this amp? I have found mention online of the earlier Blue Angels coming with them - is this true? If so, is #37 early enough? I suspect it's stock, and it sounds great in any case, but I am at least curious now since there is no mention of a Vintage 30 in the Mesa web description.
