Are there any good stores that regularly sell used Mesa Boogies? I am looking for a used LSS or Express and can't find a used one anywhere.

Thanks

where are you located? also craigslist and ebay are the best place online.... guitar center has used gear on their site which its worth checking every so often... but as far as stores you'll have to be a little more specific as to where you are

i just gave 1200 for a very nice condition 2 ch dual rectifier at GC.

They were asking 1350.

I may have done better on Ebay, but would I get to play it first? no.

right but without musical telling us where he is located its hard for anyone to suggest a store.... thats why i mentioned ebay and craigslist

Midwest Buy and Sell on Irving Park in West Chicago. They have quite a few used Mesa heads (duals, triples, stilettos, and Mark IV combo last time I was there). Prices are ok. Better than Guitar Center but higher than ebay.

Chicago craigs list is a waste.... a bunch of people selling amps for $1,600 that retail for $1800. I have yet to find something worth buying on CL.

yeah craigslist in certain area blows.... i actually saw some guy in houston selling a eventide mod factor for 1000 when they were just coming out.... yet at that same time you could put an order into musicians friend and get one within 2 weeks for 400.... real shady..... some of the best places ive found for craigslist is NJ, NY, Philly and Seattle

In Chicago:
Music-go-round on Milwaukee Ave in Bucktown/Wicker park (Chicago neighborhoods)

There are also MGR stores in Orland Park, IL and Kenosha, WI.

MGR buys anything, but please make sure to do a thorough check of the equipment you're buying.

I've gotten some good deals in the past at MGR. You can usually negotiate with the staff and not be treated like scum.
