I have two Triaxis in my rig currently. One is set-up with a combo of EH and Sovtek LPS tubes. The other has the high-gain JJ set from Eurotubes. I'd like to set up one off the two for better mid-gain/clean sounds. I'm thinking some combo of 12AT7/12AU7's would probably do the trick. I'm really trying to acheive a nice bell-like, crystal clean sound with plenty of headroom. Nice mid-gain sounds would be an added bonus. Does anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions? Thanks!
