I have a Mark I reissue that I love. I play a lot of fusion/acid jazz/blues and Afro/spanish stuff.
I like to clean up my distortion. My tone is very middy, so mid are almost full throttle. But that dirty up my lead, which I would like to have warm, very fat and singing distortion without any fuzz or buzz...which I get unfortunately...
I have the smooth and slim which helped but I need to tweak it more...to make it sound more "dumblesque"...more "sweet and spongy"...I know I will never sound like that but , think Santana sound at a cheap price
woluld an EQ pedal help?
