So my friend got these cables from Japan called "Kaminari" I tried them out and I was blown away! These things are amazing, warm/thick tone that really articulates the notes, it was perfection. I have Monster cables, Lava, Dimarzio etc My opinion it wiped them on the floor. Plugged it into my late 60's Super Lead and my 2C+ Boogie and WOW I was in heaven, it nails the 60's, 70's rock tone and does the fusion thing and made the sound come alive! and they're curly

My question is where can I get them here in the U.S. (they're white and coily)?!?!?

After reading your post, I did a quick Google search. Nothing! Good luck in your quest to find them. Keep us all posted if you figure out where to buy.

Found this on Amazon

I know that quality cables compared to garbage cables will have better quality in terms of sound an durability, but I don't think any cable will be responsible for tone. I can turn on my amp on 2 different days and not touch any settings and one day it sounds great and the next day it's crap. I went wireless a little over a year ago and I have to say I wish I had done it sooner.

Exactly. The idea that these cables "nail the tones" and that they cannot be nailed without these cables...whatever. If the OP is sold, more power to him. I'm not biting.

My question for the OP is, if your friend got them, and you tried them, I'm assuming you two live at least in the same country. Why not ask him where he got them?

I've had that experience too but chalked it up to tube technology. Do you think the absence of cables made the difference? If so, have you found any info that supports this? I've read that cables, especially long ones, can build up capacitance.

Which wireless do you use?

Line 6 G50. I told myself I would never buy a Line 6 product. This came recommended by someone who said, they would never buy Line 6 except for their wireless. I've had it and other than changing batteries, I have had no problems. I've walked upstairs and gone outside at our rehearsals; even outside of line of sight and had no problems. The person that recommended it said this is one of the things they got right and i agree. The pedal is on my pedalboard and I am free to roam about.

My guitar player uses the Samson one and his works well also.
