Best cab for RA-100?

I cannot offer much of a suggestion on Marshall or Orange. I bought my RA100 on Ebay. So I did not have a chance to experiment with it before I bought it. Shortly thereafter committing to a bid, I found a guitar shop 3 hours away that carried Mesa Boogie. Since the dropping of GC by Mesa, I now have to drive way out of my way to test drive an amp if I am shopping for Mesa Boogie. As it turns out, the shop had 3 RA100's in stock. 1 Head and 2 Combo's. I took the drive down just for the experience (in case I got outbid was it worth to pursue). The Head I tried out was though an Orange straight 412. It sounded okay. I won the bid, and got the amp. Did not sound all that great with my Recto cab (removed the V30 in favor of EVM12L) Based on recommendations from others here, I shopped around for a smaller 412 cabinet. I was on a budget since I already had 4-V30's so it did not matter what the impedance of the cabinet was. Found a good deal on a new Egnator cab (similar size to the small Marshall) Swapped the 16ohmn 75 classics with the 8 ohm V30' and could not be happier. I had a strong bias against V30 since I did not care for them in the larger Mesa Cab. But once they are in a smaller sized cabinet they sound perfect. Seems the RA100 works well with the V30. Go figure. I still do not like them with the Mark V (EVM12L is a better choice, also with the Mark IV as an extension cab the EV wins, but the 412 with the V30 is not bad).

Does anyone have any experience with the RA-100 paired with a Marshall 1936 2x12 (G12-T75 speakers)? or an Orange PPC closed back 2x12 (Vintage 30's)? Is the Orange cab even compatible with the RA-100? It's a 16 ohm cab, and the Royal Atlantic only has 4 and 8 ohm options. That means it wouldn't be able to take the Orange cab, right? Thanks, guys. I'm saving up for my first tube amp, and the Royal Atlantic is a very strong contender for me. If I get it, I want to make sure it's paired with a good cab.

If the 2x12 cab has a total load of 16 ohms, you could always rewire the speakers in parallel for the 4ohms.

I run my Royal Atlantic RA100 head thru a DV Mark 4x12 cab......I am incredibly happy with the sounds it makes.
