Hi,
So I've looked into getting a Recto and I'd say a 2 channel Dual or Triple is at the top of my list as they are supposedly 'smoother and tighter' which is definately what I'm looking for (as opposed to looser/more aggressive)
I have a Maxon OD808 and ISP Decimator, and have generally liked EL34 sounds so I'd experiment with tubes/boost as well.
2 Channel Duals are generally 'the recto' to get from a lot of opinons on here, but for really low tuned Meshugga'ish type tones would a 2 Channel Triple be better?
Would something like an ENGL Powerball or blackmore suit better for the the smooth/tight tones on low tunings?
