I am selling my mesa 4x12 and thinking about getting a mesa 2x12 or 1x12 cabinet for my roadster. Currently I am looking at two options

1) Mesa 1x12 thiele cabinet - A friend will sell it to me for 150!!!!!!!!!!
2) Mesa rectifier 2x12 cabinet with V30

What would be a good choice for roadster....I already have a genz benz 2x12 cabinet. I was thinking about getting the 2x12 cabinet , so I can use both of them in bigger shows.

Any input?

when i demo'd mine it was through a mesa 2x12 w/v30s and it sounded awesome.... but i still think the roadster through my basson 2x12 is better.... there is more clarity with the bassons.... i dont know if its because mdf doesnt color the tone of the amp but to my ears it sounds amazing.... especially for single picking type stuff.... i think one of those in union with the genz might make for a killer rig

thanks! I need to check out those basson cabs....445 for a brand new 2x12 with 5 yr warranty, not bad!

I actually use 1 (or sometimes 2) Port City Amps 2x12 wave cabinets. They are awesome. They are much lighter to carry around than the boogie cabs and move tons of air. If you look at the port city website check out the client rigs page... The rig with the road king head and 2 2x12 cabs is mine. :)
