Best 1x12 cab for Mark V:25 (metal)

Just like the title says...what’s the consensus on what is the best Mesa 1x12 cab to pair with the Mark V:25 for playing metal? Just got the V:25 and am itching to pair it with an awesome cab. I’m leaning towards the widebody closed back but I don’t know...

Hi, I´ve got the widebody closed back and I love it in combination with the V:25!
(Especially if you play harder styles :mrgreen: )

I have enjoyed it with both a wide body 1x12 3/4 back & C90 as well as with a 1x12 Thiele 12l cab. I play hippie-hard rock though, no metal. I really like it with my Avatar 2x12 oval back w/ Tone Tubby Alnicos. For your purposes, closed back is the way to go.

I've owned them all. For metal where you need a sealed cab, in my opinion, the clear winner is the cube-shaped Recto 1x12. (NOT the Mini Recto). It's the most balanced cab that 's smaller than a 4x12.
