Anyone successfully using an OD with their 3ch Rec?

i use a visual sound route 66, sounds alot better, gives my guitar a bit more push and tightens it up a little. alot better sustain too

I will NEVER...EVER run my Roadster without a Maxon OD808 for high gain applications. Tried, and I honestly thought it sounds like ****.

I use my 3 Ch Dual Rec with a Boss SD-1 Super overdrive on the third channel. It adds clarity to he sometimes flabbiness of the third channel. It also cleans up the high notes and lets them stand out more. It's definetly a good choice to try. One main suggestion though; when using an overdrive on top of distortion make sure to turn the drive or distortion mostly off or it will feed back. Only use the tone and level knobs. Hope this helps

Overrated IMO, but it can't hurt to experiment, i've tried lots of OD people recommend, but always end up turning them off.

Well judging by your clips you're not going for an overly tight tone. That's like saying a banjo is overrated. It's just a different style
